Highlights or the whole story

An Eklipse alternative
for long-form video.

Eklipse finds highlights in your streams and prepares short vertical clips. AquaEdits makes the main-channel upload: one long-form video cut from hours of the same stream. Your first video is free.

AquaEdits vs. Eklipse

Short highlights.
Or the full video.

Both start from a gaming stream. Eklipse describes ready-to-post clips for TikTok, Shorts, and Reels; AquaEdits returns one long-form video for YouTube.

Two uploads from one stream

A highlight is not the episode

Eklipse is built around the moment: a kill, a reaction, a funny exchange, reframed to vertical and posted to short-form feeds. That is useful for discovery, and it is a different deliverable from the video a subscriber sits down to watch.

A long-form upload needs the parts a highlight detector skips. The failed attempt explains the later strategy change; the quiet stretch before the fight builds the tension. AquaEdits reads the whole section, keeps the scenes that set up and pay off the story, and cuts the rest.

We found no long-form or full-VOD edit output described on Eklipse’s official pages. If you need both shorts and a main-channel video, treat them as two jobs and compare each tool on its own job.

Test it on a real stream

Use a representative session, not your easiest highlight. The AquaEdits trial includes one full video, so you can judge the complete result before paying.

Before you choose

Your questions,
answered.

Is AquaEdits an Eklipse alternative?

Yes, if what you need is a long-form YouTube video rather than short highlights. Eklipse prepares short vertical clips from your streams; AquaEdits cuts hours of a stream into one complete video.

Does Eklipse make long-form videos?

Its official pages describe short highlight clips and montages exported to short-form formats. We found no full-VOD long-form edit described there when we checked on October 10, 2026.

Is AquaEdits cheaper than Eklipse?

They price different things. AquaEdits is $50 a month for 5 long-form videos, or $80 for 10, after a free first video. Eklipse Premium is $24.99 a month on the web for short clips. Compare the price of the finished upload you need, including your own editing time.

Can I use AquaEdits and Eklipse together?

Yes. They can serve different uploads: AquaEdits for the main long-form video and Eklipse for short social clips. Decide which moments work as standalone clips after the full video’s story is clear.
