The long-form decision
The price of a hands-on editor is your hours
CapCut is inexpensive and capable, and many creators finish their videos in it. What it does not do is watch a five-hour stream and decide which forty minutes become the video. That selection is the slow part of long-form editing.
AquaEdits handles that part. It reads the whole section, finds the arc, and cuts everything that does not serve it. If you like finishing in your own editor, take the editable project into Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve and add your touches there.

Is CapCut free?
CapCut lists a free plan with basic editing tools, and paid Pro and Ultra plans. Its pricing page says displayed prices are for reference and can differ after sign-in.
Is AquaEdits cheaper than CapCut?
They price different things. AquaEdits is $50 a month for 5 long-form videos, or $80 for 10, after a free first video. CapCut Pro is listed at $19.99 a month for an editor you operate yourself. Compare the price of the finished upload you need, including your own editing time.
