YouTube can automatically archive streams shorter than 12 hours; streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured. YouTube recommends recording a local backup. Check that the archive includes the ending before using it as the source for a new upload.
Choose the best available source
YouTube Studio downloads of your own uploads are MP4 at 720p or 360p, depending on video size. Upload the original local recording when you have it; the edit can only be as sharp as its source.
